With 15 years of experience as a prostate cancer advocate and health communicator, I am available to speak with journalists, producers, and media outlets covering men’s health, cancer, lifestyle medicine, or patient advocacy.
Since my prostate cancer diagnosis at 35—what’s often labeled an “old man’s disease”—I’ve made it my mission to raise awareness through media, reaching audiences across the country. I’ve been interviewed by outlets in New York, Los Angeles, Cleveland, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, and beyond.
As a published author and bylined contributor to the Houston Chronicle and The Huffington Post, I bring both personal insight and public health perspective to every conversation. I’ve also spent years on the ground speaking with tens of thousands of men and families navigating prostate cancer, while consulting with urologists, cancer centers, and hospital leadership.
I believe in the power of awareness—and in sharing life-saving information around early detection, men’s health screenings, and the often-overlooked role of lifestyle changes in improving outcomes.
