Nonprofit

In 2010, at age 35, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. That moment changed my life—and became the catalyst for founding Blue Cure, a nonprofit men’s health movement focused on awareness, prevention, education, and support.

For the past 15 years, Blue Cure has reached men across the United States and around the world through the power of media, advocacy, and honest storytelling. From bilingual campaigns and 40-city national tours to Texas-wide outreach and educational lecture series, we’ve worked to shift the conversation around prostate cancer—challenging the notion that it’s “an old man’s disease” and spotlighting the unique challenges younger men and underserved communities face.

At Blue Cure, we promote an integrative approach to health—emphasizing early detection, active surveillance, lifestyle medicine, and improved treatment outcomes. We’ve collaborated with elected officials, public health experts, and medical professionals to share this message through PSAs, community events, bylined articles, podcast interviews, and television and radio appearances. At its core, Blue Cure is about breaking down stigma and encouraging men to speak up, get checked, and take charge of their health.
